Privacy notice

Sagentix Advisors Inc. runs this scan. This notice follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Questions or requests: stephane@sagentix.ca.

What we collect, and why

The website address you enter, to scan it. Your tick that you own or manage the site, or have the owner's permission. Your connection's IP address, which we never store: we keep a one-way hash of it, salted and reset daily, only to count three scans a day, and it expires after 48 hours. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person submitted the form. Your email, only if you choose to give it, to send you the report link once.

How long we keep it

Results are cached for 24 hours per website: anyone who scans the same website in that window sees the same report, which is built from public pages only. The scan result, the two-page sheet and any email address are deleted 7 days after the scan. The fix plan is built in your browser from the link; the plan's details are never sent to us.

Who else handles it

Cloudflare hosts this service and runs Turnstile. Google's PageSpeed Insights loads your public homepage once to measure speed. An AI model writes the summary at the top of your report from the scan results only (never your pages or your details); the AI provider keeps no data (zero data retention) and is SOC 2 Type 2 audited. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Anonymous counts

We keep anonymous counts (for example, how many sites block a crawler) with no link to any site: no domain, no address and no person is stored with them. A site is counted once a month through a one-way code that is deleted when the month closes. Clicks on this page's links are counted per day and language only.

Email

The report email is a single transactional message you asked for. We do not add you to a newsletter or a follow-up sequence; a newsletter would need its own, separate consent, unticked by default.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it before the 7 days are up. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
